Hey guys im having clutch problems.I just put in a new clutch I got off ebay called Driveline performance.Suppose to be a good dune clutch with heavy springs.New clutch cable,easy pull lever and cascade pancke bearing from fast.Clutch pull is awsonme.Very easy!Here is my problem.I cant aligh the lower push lever with the arrow on side of (under carb) engine.Cant get even close.Could the push rod or PUSH LEVER ASY be wore out?Went to the beach this past weekend and after a few rides cllutch started to slip.m running ATF type F.Draind fluid and its burnt.I had plenty of free play so i dont under stand whats the deal?If i turn the panckae allen screw al the way out the arrows are still not close.I do have the ball bearing in between the rod and pancake.Is there suppose to be another one on other side of rod?

Nope, only one rod and one ball in there. Yes the ball should be between the rod and pancake CDA.

 

Remove your clutch cover. Loosen cable at clutch lever all the way. Push lightly on clutch actuator arm untill you meet resistance. While holding it there, adjust the allen screw on the CDA (pancake bearing) untill it lines up with the arrows on the actuator arm and case. (* my CDA is adjusted almost all the way in, not out) You should be able to get it real close, if not then something isn't right. Tighten jam nut. Before you put your clutch cover back on, take up the remaining cable slack with the clutch lever adjustment leaving a tiny amount of play so you're not riding the clutch. Work the clutch a few times to check for any binding. Look down at the pressure plate to make sure it's pushing out evenly about 1/8 to 3/16". If all seems ok, put the cover back on, fill with trany fluid and coolant...test ride.
