+4 Timing & milling .20 off stock head

Recommended Posts

Deffinately go up a size on your pilot jets! My gfs bike has almost identical mods and it was bogging just off the throttle until it reved up and seemed fine. I went up one size on the pilots and the problem was solved!

Can the pilots be too big? Im gonna need to rejet my bike when its back together and the kit im looking to get has #30 pilots.

I've been running 93 octane with a stock head that has .030 shaved off and timing at +4, but would not run any lower octane than 93! Have been thinking of trying some 50/50 race mix though, just to see if there is any noticable difference.

thanks man, i'll try it this weekend
