Banshee Rider239 Posted February 24, 2011 Report Posted February 24, 2011 Hey i have a Banshee a lil over stock not sure how much over but I am running off 34mm Mikuni Flat Slide Carburators with K&N single air filters i want to know what more can i do to enhance the speed besides getting a bigger crank or new top end i know there are more things that i can can change i heard porting is the best way but i am unfamiliar with the process an how much to port it ....BANSHEEHOLICS please give me some feedback Quote
yamahaman244 Posted February 24, 2011 Report Posted February 24, 2011 not sure what your asking do u want more top speed or do u want to get up to the speed faster.........if u just want more top end just change your sprockets but u wont have the low end like now will take longer to get top out porting is the best bang for your buck will wake up your banshee and be able to pulll the gears faster Quote

Good porting should run you between $300 and $400 depending on what port you do and who you have do it. I had Wildcard Racing port my stock stroke and it rips hard. If you do want to keep your stock stroke I would look into having your crank trued and welded for the piece of mind. Any site sponsor can do all of this and will do a kick ass job. -Zach Quote
