There will def be filters there. Ive had the frame to the shop 3 times and dont want to go back but if it makes a huve diff in HP then i might. Quote
fastquad02blaster Posted February 17, 2011 Report Posted February 17, 2011 It shouldn't make enough difference to notice. It might however give you more low end. Usually, the longer the intake tubes on something, the more torque you get to an extent. Quote

You might try some silicone couplers and step up the size of the pipe. this will obviously require a filter with a bigger inlet but it would prevent them from being any restriction if you have an air hungry engine. similar to the ginormous inlet pipe you see on turbocharged vehicles such as diesel trucks.
