vizmark Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 I started with the Banshee in my signature. I just added 65mm Vito's Forged Super Stock Pistons, V-Force 3 reeds, an adjustible timing plate set at 4* and some very mild porting to the jugs. My original jetting was 300m, 30 pilot, stock needle and jet set at the 3rd clip. This was being run at sea level (Oregon dunes) betewwen 55 and 65* and was a little on the rich side. Will this same jetting set up be a ok starting point or what would be some recommendations. The carbs are on the work bench now so any changes would be easy. Thanks for your help. Quote
vizmark Posted February 15, 2011 Author Report Posted February 15, 2011 I forgot to add a cool head with 20mm domes. Quote
06specialedition Posted February 15, 2011 Report Posted February 15, 2011 Well the timing and cool head won't really affect jetting. So the only things your going to need to jet for is the new reeds and porting. I would just go up 2 sizes on your mains and see how she runs, and how the plugs look. You may only need one or so size bigger, but better to start rich and work your way down. Throw some 320's in and do a plug chop and see how it runs on top. Quote
