hotrodbanshee Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 I am replacing my factory clutch lever with an ez pull clutch perch/lever and am going to remove the parking brake. When I unplug the parking brake sensor plug behind the radiator, is that all that needs to be done. Didn't know if the ignition would cut out over idle. Thanks Quote

You can put a block off plate on the brake caliper on the back or just take the cable off if you want. Quote
95Stroker Posted April 11, 2012 Report Posted April 11, 2012 Don't mean to high jack your post but does anyone know if you deal with brake fluid when removing the parking brake assembly ? I have an assembly Eliminator kit, but I don't want to start un-bolting the assembly if I'm going to have to deal with brake fluid; and worry about getting air in the lines. Thanks for the help. I would highly suggest getting a Clymers repair manual or finding the linc for a download manual. To answer your Q, no you won't deal with brake fluid. Doesn't the kit come with instructions? BTW, Welcome to BHQ !! Quote
