RadarRacing Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 x3. Weight on the front is the worst type of weight on sand. If you arent dragracing then front brakes are just fine. I find on dirt or street riding/racing it takes me a looooong ways to stop. At the track setup at the genoa nebraska dragraces a couple years ago i partially ran into the river after every pass. Banshee Chad Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 I ride 90% dunes and use my brakes a lot. But I ride hard and never let off, sometimes u gotta stop fast. Both front and back in different situations. I don't race tho, I like to ride the dunes like its a soft mx track. And if u miss a gear climbing, Ull be glad u got the fronts when u got them gripped leaning over your bars so u don't roll. Quote
