When shocks go dry inside, and you run them in the cold, the piston will bind on the inside of the shock body, the same way a rod on an engine would bend if the piston seizes. If there's enough force on the rod end, that energy has to go somewhere... Very very that they bend THAT much, but it does happen! Good find, BTW... Quote
