bigblockbanshee Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 (edited) The gear on my current clutch basket started slipping after I got the hub nut torqued down so I'm in need of another clutch basket that the gear doesn't slip on, something that someone has actually used personally and can halfway guarantee that it won't slip. I have some parts to trade if you're interested just let me know by PM, email ([email protected]), etc.... Chris On second thought maybe I should've put this in the "wanted" section or maybe not, I'm not sure. Mods feel free to move if need be. Edited January 23, 2011 by bigblockbanshee Quote

BigRed350x Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 You just need new cushions man. If you really feel like you need a basket I've got a used billet basket I'd make you a deal on... Quote

I'd rather get by as cheap as I can so if I can just change the cushions I'll do that. Quote

There are some walkthrough's over there I believe are pinned that outline how to remove the backing plate and check out your cushions. Check your cushions first, they may or may not be bad, but based on your description that is where I would start checking for problems. You can get cushions from most builders. I'd give Kevin at Herr Jugs Racing a call first and see if he carries them. - Jared Quote
theshee Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Its hard to change them on a stock basket. They rivet to the backing plate, has to be drilled off to check or change them. Id get on that billet basket Bigreds got for sale if I was you. Quote
bigblockbanshee Posted March 10, 2011 Author Report Posted March 10, 2011 Thanks to BigRed350X I got it fixed, close thread please... Quote
