Hibnecker1 Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 check your jetting... if you are lean on one side it would cause it to run hotter... if your jetting seems right then maby a bad crank seal? anything that would cause a lean condition on one side would do it Quote
Darthwall Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 check jetting the adjusters make sure all settings on carbs are even you may have a bad pto seal if trany side is rich Quote
bansheesrtoys Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 (edited) i had the same problem. did you remove the tors?and install the idle screw? and if yes then did u synchonizs your carbs by eye or with the tool? i first did mine by eye and thought i was dead on, but after i bought the tool to syn them. I found out that the left side was running at a higher rpm than the right. after i made them right it ran better and didn't heat up different at all. Edited January 23, 2011 by bansheesrtoys Quote
06specialedition Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Maybe check for an air leak. And check your carbs sync as well. Quote
banshee55 Posted January 30, 2011 Report Posted January 30, 2011 (edited) Check ur plugs before anything and check ur jetting or one of ur seals or evan ur carbs sync. Hows it run? Does it still rip or does it bogg out alot?!? Edited January 30, 2011 by banshee55 Quote
