midlifecrisis Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 I need to buy a reamer for my spindles, what size am I looking for? My ball joints have 14mm main shafts, and a taper that starts at 12mm and tapers down to 9mm. Is this the sort of thing that should be done in a drill press, or will a drill suffice? Quote
J-Madd Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 If your just talking about making the holes bigger for aftermarket a-arms to fit; I just used a drill on mine. Quote

Bansh, thats a great write up man, nice to have a shop like that, with a press and everything. So those Janssen ball joints seem to have a much larger main post than mine. Mine were 14, and yours 16mm, where did you get them again? Those floats look sick, are the +3+1 arms on the bike in the pic? Quote
