Bsheee Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 I have a 99 banshee some port work GYTR CDI box UNI filters with no box ! The bike has a weird cut out . Like I was at the dunes on saturday in Waynoka oklahoma my bike would be running like a raped ape and all the sudden it was almost like I hit the kill switch. It also happens while its sittin there just idleing to warm it up it will be idleing fine then just all the sudden shuts off . Please let me know what anybody thinks it is. I have took the complete wiring harness apart looking for broke or bad wires and havent found anything. I am in Desperate help what do you guys think it is ? Quote
Larry's Shee Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 Check kill/ign switches. Maybe take them apart and clean them. Another member recently had problem and it cost him $200 for a kill switch at the stealership. Check all grounds. Parking brake/ or tors box? Quote
gst_r Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 I used to have an issue like this....changed the complete wiring and problem solved.... my bike used to be on idle...if i pulled or shake the wiring...the bike stalls...new wiring and no issues.. Quote
