sgchilds86 Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 i just picked up a 98 banshee with alot of work done to it when i rode it 4 weeks ago it was flying. rode it up and down the street 2 weeks ago was great. i go and jump on it to get ready to take out and the thing starts sounds great but hit the gas and sounds deep and wont go faster than 5 mph in any gear. WFT does it need a tune up ? is there something im not seeing ? anyone got any ideas of whats wrong! Quote
quikshee Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 It sounds like a tors problem. Do your carbs still have the tors setup? If you do, follow the wires back to a small black box, unplug it. Quote
kodie Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 Is there an air box? Check and make sure the filters are clean. Mine got a little dirty and my shee didn't want to get into the power at all. I cleaned the filter and she ran smooth. Quote
