chevybanshee350 Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 I have a 4-mill, mx ported by kevin herr, dmc pipes, 34mm PJs with pods. My question is my banshee fires up pretty easy but when you give it gas it bogs for a couple seconds then runs fine, but also if you keep it below 1/4 throttle for a couple seconds then try to give it gas it seems to have no response just bogs, also i give up on trying to get it to idle. I jetting it to what kevin said, its a 48 pilot, 1.5 out on air screw. and 25 clicks out on the choke. Quote
chevybanshee350 Posted December 30, 2010 Author Report Posted December 30, 2010 I just wanted to add it not really a bog it more like no response. Im pretty sure its lean but what should i try. Quote
bigboybanshee Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 I ran a set of 34PJ's in the past and they were a pain to get the bike to idle right, for me at least. I ended up getting it to idle smooth by adjusting the throttle cable. I just fired the bike up, held it just above idle to keep it running, then adjusted the throttle cable till it ran smooth on it's own with no throttle. Once you get the idling fixed, I bet your responsiveness will improve Quote
chevybanshee350 Posted December 30, 2010 Author Report Posted December 30, 2010 You mean adjust it on the handlebars. Quote
bigboybanshee Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 You mean adjust it on the handlebars. Yes, given that your carbs are in sync Quote
