banshee questions!

alright guys.... i gotta couple questions for the wireing on the shee, how can i test the grounds? what is the 12 v box in the rear of the quad by the rear grab bar and is it the trigger box? and what else would cause it to spark every 2 times outta 7 kicks? i gotta buddy helping me, so please let me know guys? thanks

The big box under the seat is the CDI and smaller s the voltage regulator.
