Reed stops

I got an 01 shee and I just got a set of boysen super stock reeds on stock cages should I run them with the stops or with out I figured with out because it would allow the reads to open up more but with more flex I figured it would also kill the life of the reeds let me know what u think

I got an 01 shee and I just got a set of boysen super stock reeds on stock cages should I run them with the stops or with out I figured with out because it would allow the reads to open up more but with more flex I figured it would also kill the life of the reeds let me know what u think

 

 

I ran them without the stops for a few months and they seemed in very good shape when I got a chance to replace for other reeds.

without....the stock ones need the stoppers... the boysens dont
