badazz99ss Posted November 22, 2010 Author Report Posted November 22, 2010 [qok but it will fit inside at least rite? Quote
bansheesrtoys Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 well i never tried it myslef but the ones i seen had frame mod done all over, plus gussets, it's not going to be easy so i hope u have time and don't rush it because you will be going really fast after your done it would suck for a weld or mount break as your hitting 100mph on that thing.i personally would just keep the banshee motor in it though.jmo Quote
Larry's Shee Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 (edited) WHY ?? Most I have seen look like cobbled up shit. Sell the shee ,get a 450 or 660 ,the frame is a lot taller and will make fitting the engine a lot easier. Plus be prepared for a TON of work , and most hybrids I've read about were more headach and 3X the money expected. Only hybrids I've seen that make sense is YZ 400 - 490 in a Blaster and Banshee in a YFZ 450. Maybe I'm to much of a purist and hate to see a 'Shee butchered up. Get a Suki quad for a Suki engine. JMHO, your results may vary . Opinions are like assholes ,everone has one. Edited November 22, 2010 by Larry's Shee Quote
bansheesandrider Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 (edited) You put that street bike motor in a Banshee and you will have a very fast quad that HANDLES VERY POORLY, and won't be good for anything but going very fast in a smooth straight line. You won't be able to jump it, go fast through whoops or even corner very good. Edited November 22, 2010 by bansheesandrider Quote
badazz99ss Posted November 22, 2010 Author Report Posted November 22, 2010 thanks guys well it seems like its too much work than what I bargained for so Im just going to go with a stroker kit.
