bansheemxkris Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 My idler gear is worn out and I have been reading that you can change out the bushing. Where do i find a bushing or does anyone have a good gear they want to sell. $53 seems expensive for a new gear. Quote

BigRed350x Posted November 19, 2010 Report Posted November 19, 2010 Just about any builder will have a steel sleeve you can purchase to replace the bronze bushing on the idler gear. If you think $53 is too much for an internal part like the idler gear, think about how much damage it will do when it comes loose and the circlip and washers go bouncing around in there. lol! Quote
