Larry's Shee Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 First , Welcome to BHQ !! A good manual will help you a lot. Pics will help with what all will need to be replaced. You need to look at it very closely. Damage can add up very quickly, especially the cylinder head, it may be one of the most solid pieces of metal on the bike and it's cracked? Why did your father stop working on it ??? Might find it to be better to part out what you have and buy a different one. JMHO , your results may vary. Quote
