crash&burn Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 Mine kept stickin open and it wasn't the throttle cable it was the slides in the carbs when the weather got real cold the oil would gum up on the slides and they would stick and then i would have clean with carb clean and switched oils that would work better in the cold and haven't had a problem since take off your air filter and thats how i saw mine stickin seein one or the other slide stuck up a little carb clean and it was unstuck Quote

2004LEBanshee Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 Take the carbs apart. Soak them over night in carb cleaner. Clean them real well. Take the finest steel wool you can find and sand the slides and the inner of the carb. Put it back together. The stick from dirt and water gettin in. Quote
