Works Blaster Shocks...

Will a set of works shocks for a blaster fit a banshee? Will I loose any ground clearence?

The guy says they are 15 inch from eye to eye and were on extended blaster a-arms....

I know on Blaster Forum they say 'shee shocks are upgrade with out mod, Worsecase is spring rate may be little soft. Have to compare length for ground clearance. If price is right snag them, can always resell if you don't like them

just do it. i was wanting to do something like that to try to lower it for flat track. that would be for stockers thought. idk about extended works though

Stock 'shee shocks are 14 3/4 , so you should be good to go.

The springs and valving are going to be to soft for a Banshee. A Blaster is about 50 pounds lighter than a Banshee, does not have the power and speed of a Banshee, and most Blaster riders do not weigh as much, nor are as aggresive as Banshee riders. If a Banshee shock is an upgrade on a Balster, that tells me that a Blaster shock on a Banshee is a downgrade.

The springs and valving are going to be to soft for a Banshee. A Blaster is about 50 pounds lighter than a Banshee, does not have the power and speed of a Banshee, and most Blaster riders do not weigh as much, nor are as aggresive as Banshee riders. If a Banshee shock is an upgrade on a Balster, that tells me that a Blaster shock on a Banshee is a downgrade.

The "banshee upgrade" they are referring to, is stock-for-stock swap.

 

Works uses a progressive valving setup, rather than static valving. a 50lb difference won't be noticeable to 95% of riders as far as the valving is concerned. Being under-sprung is a possibility, but odds are the person who ran them on a blaster, ran them on extended a-arms, so they would be sprung heavier than stock.

 

In my professional opinion, I think you would be happy running those shocks over stock.
