68chevyc10355 Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 Send it off to get ported. Also, switch to t5s, CPIs or a better exhaust than the t6 for ported motors, but it also depends on the type of riding you do...what is done to your friends? Quote

slow 98 banshee Posted October 21, 2010 Author Report Posted October 21, 2010 depends on how much your looking to spend id go with 28mm carbs rocket r2 pipes and a timing plate to start i can only spend about $200 right now whats wrong with the t6 pipes? sorry i dont know much about banshee's im new to 4 wheelers Quote
CFH87 Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 There's nothing wrong with the t6 pipes. But somewhere down the line if you plan on porting the motor they will restrict the flow. With the spending limit you have I would get a timing plate and practice my launches maybe a gear change could help. Quote
slow 98 banshee Posted October 22, 2010 Author Report Posted October 22, 2010 k thanks the guy gave me a fmf boost bottle with it but i have heard that those dont help much is that true? Quote
brugal Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 his is a 2006 with a cool head and t5s and v force reeds Run a smaller rear sprocket 41 or 40 tooth. Should be a good race. Best rider wins. Quote
rdzbangshee Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 stock x- over tube is the way to go. I been using my boost bottle for 23 years Quote
Mbart Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 $200 buys a lot of fuel and oil. All that practice will probably make it faster than any bolt on. Just saying...... Quote
