Ok so bought a set of polished cylinders and found out there was a stud broke in the cylinder so how would you guys get the broken stud i was thinkin of drillin and try a eay-out or drill and tap it.... and second thing is installing new prodesgn head studs and wanted to know how you guys put them in and torque them to.... i was thinkin of double nut the studs and locktight and tighten to torque spec

I would do exactly what you have suggested and in that order as well. Two of my head studs were damaged when I got my bike, so I helicoiled the old holes and installed new studs for my Vitos 2 head. Hopefully this helps. Use the blue locktite just incase they need replacing again.

ok so i did the whole easy-out thing and my new easy out ended up breaking off as well so i am goining to check into to having it machined any ideas about how much this should cost for a shop to do and what should i torque theses studs to
