AustinK Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 Alright so I have a set of Mikuni 28mm flat side carbs I have purchased. Now I have been told about the tors eliminator kit. Everyone I have seen have come with the cables, idle screws, and caps. My carbs already have the idle screws in so those I won't need. The caps are circular for one thing, so will the ones on mine work anyways, and I also don't understand or see how I am suppose to get fuel to the carbs from the tank. Could I also get away with purchasing the throttle cable kit from TDR instead of buying this eliminator kit? I did not take the existing carbs off of the bike so I'm not sure how it went on in the first place. Any help would be awesome!! Thanks Quote
Larry's Shee Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 Welcome to BHQ Austin. Only part of tors you have to be concerned with is un-plugging tors box left side of frame by gas tank. Someone else may chime in about cable. As for fuel a single line comes down to a tee with a line going to each carb. Hope this helps. Quote
AustinK Posted October 17, 2010 Author Report Posted October 17, 2010 Ok, is there a certain size hose that needs to come off the T? Unfortunatly the T is gone from mine... Thanks for the help and the welcoming! Quote
Larry's Shee Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 The size that fits fuel petcock and carbs is the same. A good auto parts or good hardware will have fuel line. Be sure the Tee is fuel proof if it's plastic. Quote
AustinK Posted October 17, 2010 Author Report Posted October 17, 2010 Awesome info thank you much. Quote
