James-26 Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 Having trouble starting my banshee. I have kicked and kicked and kicked and it wont start. I have 118-120 compression on both cylinders, I have spark, cleaned the carbs, and when I pull the plugs out they have fuel on them. Any ideas on why she wont start? I parked it maybe 2 months ago and it would start 3rd-4th kick every time before parked. I can spray mixed fuel into the carb and it still wont fire. Quote
Larry's Shee Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 Spark and good spark can be two different things. Chech pick-up gap, are lugs clean. On my son's shee had to pull flwheel and clean poles on stator. Check flywheel key. Try different cdi if you have one. Quote
James-26 Posted October 8, 2010 Author Report Posted October 8, 2010 I can not remember the pick-up gap clearance 18-20 thou? Quote
