I said no because you will get less performance if you are running stock compression

But I did read you have an aftermarket head so put some 18 domes or something and then run AV and youll be alot happier

I wouldn't recommend it. Shit runs HOT & DRY....we run it in our stroked/highly modded VW's w/some Marvel to help cure the dry factor...I've ran it a couple times & didn't notice any gain in performance, but did notice shee ran a bit hotter. Shee's just fine right now w/91oct & 927!

Everyone can say what they want.... but I will stand behind Iridea250r here.... It will run cooler and cleaner than pump gas. The last time I purchased fuel was close to 2 years ago (shit, is that depressing) As soon as my shee is ready for action I will be purchasing more AV gas for it, and without hesitation!

I say yes!

why? do you have any scientific or personal proof against it? Most people wont even try it, or if they do they don't bother rejetting so they can say it runs too hot bla bla bla.

I have ran AV GAS (100LL) for 2 years in my 99 ported shee with coolhead and 17cc domes (215lbs compression). My bike does run cooler and AV GAS runs cleaner!!

******* YOU HAVE TO REJET FOR AV GAS********

AV GAS has a slightly higher oxygen content than "Race Gas" and will cause a lean condition if not rejetted. Most of the time 1 size larger main and adjusting the air screw will do it!

Plus it seems like I never foul plugs with AV GAS!!
