So Cal Suspension Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 What is the advantage of the Vapor over the endurance? Just looks or is the vapor better? I ran the Vapor. It has a speedo, tach, outside air temp, water (coolant) temp, tripometer, odometer, and clock. Not sure what all the endurance has. Quote
bansheesandrider Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 The Vapor has a tach and warning lights that the Endurance does not. I had a Vapor but had problems with the tach and the unit resetting. I took the bike to TrailTech twice and they could not fix it. In between the 2 trips I decided that the tach was useless when riding because it was too hard to read and watch the trail. They ended up giving me a Vector which is the same thing as a Vapor but without a tach, it has the warning lights and hourmeter and maintenance reminders which is what I really wanted. It works awesome. Quote
matt1 Posted October 7, 2010 Author Report Posted October 7, 2010 Do I need to run a battery for this? From what I can tell the endurance does not have permanent Hour meter. Quote
