gearing this 490 blaster for 300 foot

Are you saying you run out of power when you hit third? Either you have a major fuel delivery problem,jetting problem , or you really effed up the pipe . Teroretically ,going from large motorcycle to smaller quad tire you would gear up to keep same speed. I think that pipe is killing the motor and the gearing is F'd up big time.

You need a project blaster right sid pipe(drag)also if its a newer style axle you can put a banshee sprocket hub(4 pronge) on there to give you more gearing

Agreed, the pipe is killing it and if you was to throw a 16t on the front, put on a wheelie bar, turn her to the moon and let it go!

i think they had it setup for 150 foot ice drag

is that a yz490 engine in there? if so it should rip plenty good as it looks like it has the stock dirt bike pipe on there?i would try a 14 or 15t sprocket. is the bike a 4 speed or 5 speed?
