pulp_friction Posted September 30, 2010 Report Posted September 30, 2010 Hi all, Does anyone know if there is a rear cover available for the tail of a Banshee that tidy's up the rear end and covers the wiring? The Raptor has a nice hugger style cover that probably could be modified, but it would be a shame to destroy one in the process. Thanks heaps. Quote
MikeNick Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 Not sure what cover a Raptor has. you have a pic of what your talking about. Quote
06specialedition Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 Yeah kinda confused on exactly what you mean. Quote
pulp_friction Posted October 7, 2010 Author Report Posted October 7, 2010 Yeah kinda confused on exactly what you mean. Gentlemen, Thanks for taking the time to respond. My mates 2007 Raptor 700 has a plastic cover on the underside of the seat/grab rail area. Let me explain, if you look directly up from the rear bearing carrier, there is a plasic gaurd that covers the wiring etc. So rather than looking at the CDI/brake light wiring etc. there is a nice plastic piece that protects all of this area. I will try and get a picture of the setup.....it really makes the Banshee look unfinished once you see how tidy the Raptor is done. Quote
someone82 Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 here I'll help you out: The cover he is talking is just right of the muffler Quote
pulp_friction Posted October 11, 2010 Author Report Posted October 11, 2010 here I'll help you out: The cover he is talking is just right of the muffler Hi bud, Yes, that's it! If anyone has had a look at the undertail section of a 700 Raptor you will know how sweet & neat/tidy it looks. When you look back a t a Banshee it looks very unfinnished. I will probably modify a Raptor part as it looks like there is no aftermarket alternative. Quote
