  2. Hi all, Looking for rear grab handle. Aluminium aftermarket style, please PM me if you have something suitable. Many thanks, Michael
  3. Hi all, I am after a swingarm protector, aluminium and not too dinged up. Thanks heaps. Michael
  4. has not set their status

  5. Hi Guys, I am after the folowing parts for my 2004 Banshee: Headlights - small aftermarket using standard mounts and wiring if possibile Exhaust clamps - billet style to join my FMF Fatty's to silencer Just a heads up, I will need these shipped to Australia. USPS will be fine. Many thanks
  6. Hi chief, The green/yellow wire is the park brake limiter wire. This is cut when you remove the park brake so the rev limiting feature is bypassed. Hopefully this helps at least some of your problem.
  7. Hi bud, Yes, that's it! If anyone has had a look at the undertail section of a 700 Raptor you will know how sweet & neat/tidy it looks. When you look back a t a Banshee it looks very unfinnished. I will probably modify a Raptor part as it looks like there is no aftermarket alternative.
  8. Hi all, I am going to try a K &N airbox lid and have missplaced the metal clips that hold it down. Does anyone have some spares that I can buy? Thanks heaps, Micahel
  9. Gentlemen, Thanks for taking the time to respond. My mates 2007 Raptor 700 has a plastic cover on the underside of the seat/grab rail area. Let me explain, if you look directly up from the rear bearing carrier, there is a plasic gaurd that covers the wiring etc. So rather than looking at the CDI/brake light wiring etc. there is a nice plastic piece that protects all of this area. I will try and get a picture of the setup.....it really makes the Banshee look unfinished once you see how tidy the Raptor is done.
  10. Hi people, Has anyone got any reccomendations for the rear bearing carrier with regards to taper vs ball bearings? I am guessing tapers would be more of a hassle for preload/back lash on setup....... Many thanks in advance.
  11. Hi all, Does anyone know if there is a rear cover available for the tail of a Banshee that tidy's up the rear end and covers the wiring? The Raptor has a nice hugger style cover that probably could be modified, but it would be a shame to destroy one in the process. Thanks heaps.
  12. Gentlemen, Case closed.....thanks very much to all. Green/Yellow wire snipped & allgood.com. Thanks heaps to all who took the time to assist.
  13. Thanks Jereme, You guys are all special! (In a good way)
  14. Hi buddy, Thanks for trying to help me out. I think you have nailed it! I did also remove the park brake just before the TORS. So the park brake is connected to the CDI??? I thought the park brake limiting feature was all managed by the TORS. (The previous owner told me this) It is running exactly like the park brake is on. When you say "clip" the green/yellow wire do you mean cut it or can it be unplugged? Thanks heaps.
  15. Hi Larry, Tahnks for taking a look at my drama. Cutaway facing air box, choke cross over on....perhaps i have the bowls mixed up. You seem to have a good way of explaining things, what bowl goes where? (how do I identify correct bowl?) Thanks again.
  16. Hi, I have just removed the TORS from my 2004 Banshee and installed a Motion Pro kit including idle screws. It starts fine/normaly but runs like the TORS is activated (like when the park brake is on) even though it is removed. When you open the throttle it just makes a louder induction noise without lifting the revs. (also kind of misses & splutters) The slides are in the correct way & I even swapped them over just to check after 4 hours of trying to work it out, this made no real difference running this bad anyway. I have unplugged & removed the TORS box from the frame and all os the other connections. I have had the carbies off twice and changed the main jets with 290's in there at the moment. (last running with 300's) Any ideas of where I should look next?
  17. Thanks madjimmax, My carbie overhaul kit arrived today, I wan't expecting it but it came with some 290 & 300 jets. I popped the 300's in and will see how it goes. There were also some pilots, I coudn't see any #'s on them....how do you tell the size of pilots? I had better search "plug chop" as I have nfi what that means, sorry to be a nuff nuff! Thanks for your assistance.
  18. Thanks mate, Sounds like at least the 280's should go back in. Can I screw anything up by taking it out this weekend for a couple of hours with the 260 jets installed? I have run out of time.
  19. Thanks Burt, Previous pipes were stock. A little richer....say 300?
  20. Hi all, I just put on a FMF Fatty complete system including Power Core 2 cans to my 2004 Banshee. The supplied jets with the package were 260's, when I pulled the carbies apart I noticed there were already 280's installed. I am fairly sure the engine is stock with the only visable changes being a White Power balancer and no lid on the airbox. Will I do any damage running with the 260 jets, or should I slam the 280's back in? What are the symtoms of wrong jetting? Let's call my ridding technical at sea level. (In Australia if that makes any difference) Thanks in advance.
