shearer pipes

hi guys i have a 392 big bore with a single 38mm carb and rad vavles. just want know if in frame shearer pipes would be any good for me? any help would be great

I know alot of people on here love them and swear by them. I run CPI's and they are pretty sweet IMO too. Can't go wrong.

or will i be better off running fmf fatty or sst? or something like that?

your bike seems set up for down low power, with the single carb and fmf pipes, the shearer's are a top end drag pipe, usually feed with big carbs.

if you want more top end, maybe try twin carbs before you change to a full on drag pipe.

just got the single carb so stuck with it for a while. so the shearer in frame pipes are no good for me? and do you know any good places in perth to get a port job? cheers

i dont know of many places here, GNR101 a member on here also from perth had a place in wanneroo port his cylinders. Tho we both have had ours done from a BHQ sponsor.

 

well the single carb is more for bottom end and the shearer is more for top end, they dont match as a setup.

 

dmc's, toomeys, pc's and fmf's would have better pipes that you look like youd be after.
