hey guys ....what the best timing setting for the vitos 68mm full drag ported cylinders??? 34mm pj carbs and podds with outer wears>> im at +4 now ..

don't change your port timing at all on the vitos cylinders they all ready have too much as it is.i had 2 sets in my garage at the same time and they both measured out over 200 degrees of exhaust (202-203).

I think he means ignition timing, singe he said he's at 4 now. For gas probably around 6 or 7 but remember your jetting will get leaner with more timing. If you like that setup more power to you, they are notorious for running like crud down low, and the nikasil coating on the cyls must be spray painted on, its peeled off a lotta peoples cyls. If your not happy with the torque it makes more timing and compression or different pipes won't fix it. The stock stroke actually runs alot better than the 4 mil.

after rereading i see now.the plating on those are junk i agree.i would buy a set of stockers and do them before i would spend any money on those.absolutely no low end.everything radarracing said is true.oh yea +4 on the timing.we tried more timing to get some low end but temp went way up.
