AdrenalineJunky Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 Well I am still in the process of fine tuning and tinkering with the bike. I still haven't got the non cold start issue solved. I was riding around today and finally started ripping on it some. At about 1/2 throttle it seems like it revs out but isn't pulling hard as it should. Mods: stock carbs, 27.5 pilots, clip 4th from top, 330 mains, .060 over Wiseco's and fresh rebuild, VF2's, K&N pods, 20cc domes w/ coolhead. Just seems after you nail it it revs up but don't feel it continuing to pull just have to keep shifting and keeps revving quickly. I still need to do a plug chop but today is most i've rode it. Try to do a chop tomorrow. I am around 800 or 900 asl in southeastern Ohio. Quote
RagunCajun Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 1/4 to 3/4 is mostly needle clip position. 3/4-wot is main jet. Quote
AdrenalineJunky Posted September 20, 2010 Author Report Posted September 20, 2010 Yeah from about half throttle u can feel it rev quickly and doesn't feel like it's making much power all the way to WOT. Quote
sleeper06 Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 Did you get the fuel leak to stop?Do you have porting? Quote
RagunCajun Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 You can always drop a needle clip position. But maybe you main is too rich. Id personally try the needle clip one notch different both ways and if they doesnt help, i would try 1 size richer main. I prefer to go rich before lean. Someone might chime in and tell you a better method. Mines tedious. Quote
AdrenalineJunky Posted September 20, 2010 Author Report Posted September 20, 2010 Did find that I have air leaks on intake/ reed spaceer today. I will get that fixed and try to get a plug chop. I know I ain't lean on the needle cuz I droppit it 1 to richen it. Quote
