porting a cub cylinder?

Yesterday i swithched my intakes on my 4mil drag cub cylinder. When looked threw the intakes they looked stock(cub) to me! just wonderin with a drag port do they usually leave the intake windows on the cub alone?

Yeah mine are the same,intakes just cleaned up and the porting is in the transfer and exhaust ports,cub cylinders are already drag ported,they just take them to the limit when you have them ported for every bit of horse power you can get out of them,hope this helps

I had HJR drag port mine... With out taking actual measurments, just comparing before and after pics, the intake boost ports are much larger (taller) and the exhaust is alot wider. I don't think there's much to open up in the main intake windows.

The majority of the power in cubs is in the exhaust and transfers...as is, the intakes are pretty hogged out by the factory.

A little massaging and shaping and that's about it.
