lsr_banshee Posted September 10, 2010 Report Posted September 10, 2010 Hey guys I need a little help, the front part of my seat sticks out past the gas tank almost like wings, which makes it hard to start because my boot gets caught on the seat. Is there anyway to bend the front part in or to modify it to be flush with the sides of the tank thanks Quote
ban99 Posted September 10, 2010 Report Posted September 10, 2010 You might try heating it up with a torch or heat gun and bending it back into shape. However this may cause it to become brittle and eventually crack. It may just be time to get a new / used one off ebay. Quote

You heat it up with a heat gun and bend the ears in. They do this with the cover off. Quote
