GRR lockup with heavy arm

The up side to the GRR is there is less to come apart and wreak havoc inside your cases. The downside is tuneability and you can make the DD hold more power as there is more potential for weight. I have a GRR and it worked great for my 4 mill stock cyl alky bike. I did not even try to run it on my 10 cub. I ended up drilling it and adding bolts essentially making it just like a direct drive. The one thing I can say about a modified GRR is it has more potential for holding power as the fingers are real beefy and you can put whatever size bolts and nuts you want in it(within reason of course). The down side of modifying one is trying to drill the bolt holes perfectly as to try and maintain balance. They spin awful fast to be unbalanced as I am sure you can imagine....
