Okay I gave my wife my old motor and I changed from 34mil to stock carbs and changed from advance timing +5 plate to stock now that motor won't run worth a crap it dose have 180 psi compression. My question is do you have to advance the timing if you have that much compression?

Thanks

Whats the cc of this motor? It should still run good with stock timing. Maby your jetted incorrectly? I used to have stock carbs on my 404, had to put huuge jets in it.

it's stock I was just wondering about the compression being high if that had anything to do with it. I think I will have a leak test done?
