cain Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 okay needs some help...I have a ported Banshee that ran great, Then I took the 34mil carbs off put stock carbs on also took the advance timing plate off and now I can get it to run right. It dose have 180 psi compression. My question is do you need timing advance if you run that high of compresion? Thanks Quote

Thanksi would adjust the timing 1 degree @ a time tell you find the hot spot i run +8 and no less or she runs bum. Quote
Darthwall Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 (edited) depending on the port job you have unless its mx work I would go back to the bigger carbs the timing can be worked around depending on fuel and rpm range since its 180 psi if you want milder step down the dome size and tune it acordingly Edited August 24, 2010 by Darthwall Quote
