okay needs some help...I have a ported Banshee that ran great, Then I took the 34mil carbs off put stock carbs on also took the advance timing plate off and now I can get it to run right. It dose have 180 psi compression. My question is do you need timing advance if you run that high of compresion?

Thanks

depending on the port job you have unless its mx work I would go back to the bigger carbs the timing can be worked around depending on fuel and rpm range since its 180 psi if you want milder step down the dome size and tune it acordingly
