Whats up with the plastics? Never seen that before, are those raptor plastics. Do you run a heavy premix, I have found that even good compression motors are hard to start with a heavy premix.

He just told me 32:1.

After a few more PM's it sounds to me that yamalube @ 32:1 is a little heavy to me.

Welcome to BHQ. By kick over I presume you mean to start/run. How does it run when you get it going? What do your plugs look like? What gap? Good spark? Fresh fuel? Does it start cold with a snort of starting fluid ?If it starts with a snort (little one !! ) then clean carbs paying special attention to choke circut.

Larry. From what he told me the plugs are tan and that he put in new plugs and it started and ran fine. Hopped on it the next day and it wouldn't start. He's also running yamalube @ 32:1.

try mixing it at 40:1, i mix yamalube at 33:1, and never had a problem

Did he wash it after the last ride?

I didn't ask him. I gave him a bunch of things to check when he PM'd me. Hopefully he will get back on here and check his thread.
