On some of the honda carrier type +6 swingarms, the stock brakeline will just work. But if your using an arm that keeps the factory carrier.. Yeah, you'll need a new line.

I've got a nice braided cable thats brand new in the box for a +6 if you want to buy one. $40 shipped.

dont get an actual +6 longer than stock brake line. I think the right length for a +6 arm is 24" long.

Its for a +6 arm. ? shrug.gif

If you use an actual +6 over stock length brake line, they are so long that you can actually put a loop in one and it will still reach the rear caliper. You can actually use the stock brake line, it is just stretched a little too much with a +6 arm for it to be safe.

You are talking about the rear brake line right? Not the parking brake cable correct?

I believe its the rear brake line and not the parking brake because he said he only uses the front brakes when riding......

And should i just put the stock arm back on if im just gonna be doin trail riding/ open field riding?

And i will probably be racing my friend on his 400ex. I'm guessing the longer swingarm is better for racing. wont be jumping it but taking off hard i'm guessing the front end will prob stay down easier?

If your going to be racing a longer swingarm is deffinately a better choice. If your going to be trail riding a stock or +2 would then be a better choice. As far as the brake line I have, I'll have to take it out of the package to measure the length. I just bought one that was labeled for a +6 swinger.

Well the one you have is going to be +6" longer than a stock brake line. You have to run a 24" line which I think is only +2" or +4" longer than a stock brake line.
