livealatimmy Posted August 18, 2010 Report Posted August 18, 2010 I was riding this past weekend and missed third gear pretty hard on the shee. When I was riding back to the truck I went to pull the clutch lever and I had no tension. I know I need to pull the clutch cover off to see exactly whats wrong but just wanted to see if you guys have a idea of what it may be before I dig into this thing Quote
drap660 Posted August 18, 2010 Report Posted August 18, 2010 (edited) You said it yourself. You need to pull the clutch cover out. Well, first check for a broken cable..... Edited August 18, 2010 by drap660 Quote
Larry's Shee Posted August 18, 2010 Report Posted August 18, 2010 Also check where cable attaches to top of engine case. Quote
livealatimmy Posted August 18, 2010 Author Report Posted August 18, 2010 When I pull the clutch lever I can see the other end of the cable move. I'm gonna tear it apart tonight and see what's wrong. I hope nothing major but..... Quote
RagunCajun Posted August 18, 2010 Report Posted August 18, 2010 (edited) It's the same feeling i had when i welded my ball to the shaft. Pull the clutch cover off to see what is wrong. Worse case scenario, time to split the cases. Great time for a pancake bearing no matter what is wrong. Edited August 18, 2010 by RagunCajun Quote
