shelrad1 Posted August 4, 2010 Report Posted August 4, 2010 Who makes 30mm D slide carbs ? Are they any good ? Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted August 4, 2010 Report Posted August 4, 2010 There OKO30's I used to run them for a few years. Never had a lick of problems. Some people did have problems with the bowls running dry on long WOT pulls though. But theres a easy fix. Im almost thinking the ones from a few years ago didn't have any problems like that as i never had and bowls run dry as well as a buddy that got some at the same time never had a problem also. I really liked them though, easy to tune, didn't have to pull the bowl to change the main jet. Good all around performance and great price. Fit in stock intake boots and air box boots also. Quote
shelrad1 Posted August 4, 2010 Author Report Posted August 4, 2010 OK, thanks, I have a set coming. Was not paying alot of attention when I bid on them on ebay. Won the bid for under 200. When looking back over the auction I noticed it didnt specify the brand. I was guessing OKO, but wasnt sure. Hopefully they will perform as well as everyone says. Quote

Sandfrk33 Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 I just bought a set. Should have them installed by the end of the weekend. Carb parts warehouse(CPW) makes them. They use keihin internals and jets Quote

I am impressed with them. Big power improvement over factory carbs. They have a nut on the bottom of the bowls you can remove to change the mains. Just loosten the rubber boots tilt carb sideways and you can access the mains. It makes life so much easier! Got mine from carb parts warehouse, I told them what mains I had been using in the stock carbs and they sent the OKO's jetted pretty close to where they needed to be. Quote
mopar1rules Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 (edited) cool, i probably order a set up then. thanks for the feedback. they fit just fine in the stock intake boots and airbox boots? Edited August 23, 2010 by mopar1rules Quote

It took some work to get the airbox boots streached over them, but they will go. Also had to slightly bend the clutch arm down to clear the bowl. Quote
