Hi guys, i wanna make my bike handle better but dont have a lot of money to put into it. I found these brackets on ebay that will make my stock arms +4 or +6 and i want to get a steering dampner should i go with this setup while i save for 450 shocks or should i get the 450 shocks then save for the other stuff? Thanks in advance.....

If a widening kit helps it will be minimal. All they allow you to do is put longer , better shocks. Save your $$$$ for longer arms and shocks. JMHO, your results may vary. BTW , Welcome to BHQ !!

looks like im going to have to go all out and buy the goods hope i can save up fast lol

i think i might buy the steering dampner straight up while i save though i think it will make a big difference, hopefully stop arm pump.

any of you guys got steering dampners? what do you think of them?

I love my damper. Dont know how i rode with out one.

Its not be any means a $500+ Scott or Precision damper but it works well for what it is (Streamline Billetanium 7way adj/rebuildable).

Got a killer deal on it from Alba's booth at Sandfest it Coos bay a couple years ago.

I got this Streamline one for 90.

Think there 160-180 regular price.
