jeramie Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 just rebuilt the top end on my bike. broke it in and rode it around the block a few times without any problems. i took the bike out to my friends property yesterday, i rode it for about an hour, parked it for a while then my friend got on it and tore ass down the street and when he came back it was backfiring out of the left side. anybody know a good mechanic around me? jeramie Posted August 1, 2010 Author Report Posted August 1, 2010 Sounds like a broken reed. is there a way to tell by looking at a reed, if its broke or not. i have the reeds off the bike already and one of the reed gaskets were blown. could that be the problem? Quote
