bigtizzles Posted July 29, 2010 Report Posted July 29, 2010 I want to try some high rise handlebars for my banshee, but i've noticed the stock ones have about the same height as most "high rise". Also most high rise are significantly narrower than the stock handlebars. I would think that would not benefit steering much? Who has some good cheap bars for the banshee, and for what style of riding do they work good for? They don't have to be highrise. I heard highrise are good for trails? What do you guys use, and what do you think would be good for trail and track style riding, no jumps just hills and turns and whoops. Nothing crazy...Sorry if I sound like a noob idiot, I kinda am I guess... Quote
06specialedition Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 I think its a personal preference on handle bars. I love my "mid atv pro tapers"... I hate how the stock ones are so damn high, but thats just my opinion. I know pro taper makes all sort of heights and colors...... Quote
bigtizzles Posted July 30, 2010 Author Report Posted July 30, 2010 I was lookin at some Fly bars. They look pretty decent for the price. Quote
bigtizzles Posted July 30, 2010 Author Report Posted July 30, 2010 Are the Protaper CR high bends for a dirt bike? I found a nice set. They are wider and not as high as the stock bars?? I don't understand. Quote
TeamRealtreeHD Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 I am a big fan of TAG Metal bars. I haven't had a bad set yet. I love them. Quote
bigtizzles Posted July 30, 2010 Author Report Posted July 30, 2010 is there really much difference between the carbon steel, and aluminum? The steel ones are much cheaper and look just as good. Is there a difference in the feel? Quote
scottd480 Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 I was lookin at some Fly bars. They look pretty decent for the price. I got a set of the Flys, and they're pretty good quality for the money. I would definately go with the aluminum bars over the POS carbon steel; they're lighter and stronger for sure. The steel ones tweak way too easlily. Quote
