ionroller Posted July 29, 2010 Report Posted July 29, 2010 every once in a while i will get a little steam off my right pipe for just a second and dont know where it was coming from, the other day it happened again and i stopped fast and looked and it looked green coming from a black hose behind radiator, behind gas tank, looks like a vent any help??? thanks Quote
Phelps Posted July 29, 2010 Report Posted July 29, 2010 it may be on the edge of over heating. it's the puke tube. what kind of impeller you running? stock style, or billet? if it's a plastic one i would check to make sure it is still in one peice. if you ride in the mud alot i would make sure the radiator is clean. gotta remember it's hot as hell out just about anywhere and they will just puke a little when ridden hard. ionroller Posted July 29, 2010 Author Report Posted July 29, 2010 its the stock impeller, when i did my clutch kit it looked perfect, it seems like nothing ever goes to or from my coolant botle? what is the best impeller there is? Quote
ionroller Posted July 30, 2010 Author Report Posted July 30, 2010 would a oversize radiator help Quote
Phelps Posted July 30, 2010 Report Posted July 30, 2010 would a oversize radiator help a billet impeller is the best choice and almost every sponsor here can get you one. stock cylinders? what is the bore? the only reason i would just all of a sudden start leaking is either a head gasket, the impeller lost a fin, or two, or the radiator is full of mud, or it's just damn hot outside and you haven't rode it in this heat before.
