cactusted Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Albuquerque is aprox a mile high depending on where you ride (5000-5500) & gets pretty cold (snow) in winter & 90's in summer. Clovis is 4300 ft elevation & probably 10 deg warmer than Albuquerque. Quote

Huge elevation diff from sea level. I run Pj's so my jets are way different. From sea level to Clovis (4300 elev) you probably need to drop at least 2-4 sizes on your jets. Don't be surprised if you need to drop even more. You probably need to raise your clip on your needle also (lowering the needle). Some of this is assuming you were jetted correctly for sea level to begin with. Quote

I am ported running cpi's and other stuff. My buddy who has a few bolt ons runs 280's in the summer here. Both running stock carbs. Quote
gstaten24 Posted July 23, 2010 Author Report Posted July 23, 2010 Well it ran like a champ before:) I got the needle right in the middle so you think just one click will be good? Thanks for all the help! Quote
