welded crank

is getting a crank welded something any good machine shop can do ? and what is being welded on the crank ... crank pins ?

any info would be apreciated thx

Yeah the pins that go in through the bottom of the rods. I sent mine to Kevin herr(herr juggs racing), and he had it back to me like 3 days after he received it which is great turn around(I'm in CT he's in Cali). His welds are fantastic

It should be trued before it is welded. Any good welder would be able to weld it, but you need someone that isfamiliar with crank work to true it properly and make sure it is in phase.

Send it to a site sponsor that does it. That way you know its done right. I had Wildcard do mine.
