dirtbike drew Posted July 13, 2010 Author Report Posted July 13, 2010 Ok thanks bro I didn't know if I needed them or not thanks for the info...... Drew Quote
bansheesandrider Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 Boyesen reeeds have you remove the stoppers and just use the plate they send with them. But after breaking a set of new ones on my ported reed cages, the guy at North Bend Yamaha said that on ported cages he recomended running the Yamaha stoppers. I didn't have them with me so I put them in without them and have not had further problems. Quote
dirtbike drew Posted July 14, 2010 Author Report Posted July 14, 2010 (edited) I got this quad a month ago and it was missing parts and I see that I didn't have the stops. And didn't know if I needed them or not and would it effect the way it runs and how it would perform. And I don't have no port work done with my cylinders yet. I'll look at them tomorrow but I think they have the small metal peace that would come with the reeds. Thanks for your info...... Drew Edited July 14, 2010 by dirtbike drew Quote
James-26 Posted July 14, 2010 Report Posted July 14, 2010 I'm running FMF reeds with stock cage and stoppers. Do I need to run my stoppers? Will I gain anything by taking the stoppers off? Quote
