So Cal Suspension Posted July 7, 2010 Report Posted July 7, 2010 hey guys just wondering do you need to worry bout balancing carbs even if you have the balance line between the two ? I'm assuming you are referring to syncing the carbs. That tube that runs between the two, is called a choke tube. Since these carbs only have a choke on one side, that tube applies "choke" to both carbs, when the one side is pulled out. It is possible to do it without the tool, available from F.A.S.T., but I recommend you invest in one of the tools from Jeff. Quote

pr0blumz Posted July 7, 2010 Report Posted July 7, 2010 Matt was referring to stock carbs. You have a set of Keihin PJs. The carbs should be synced at idle and off idle so the carbs won't work against each other affecting performance. Quote
